- Teachers to send home parental permission forms for GlobalEd 2 with students.
- Note – if teachers need some of the forms in Spanish to help parents fully understand the documents, please let us know ahead of time and we will include copies of the forms for parents in Spanish and English.
- Teachers should read aloud the student assent forms in class and allow students to read and sign assent form for GlobalEd 2 without any pressure.
- Team assignments will be made and teachers and students begin research and preparation phase for the Fall simulation.
September 14th - September 18th
- Pre-assessments (for students completed)
October 26th, 2009
- GE2 simulation starts.
- Opening Statements must be uploaded by this date
- Message exchange between countries/issue groups begins.
October 30th - Nobember 23rd, 2009
- Message exchange continues
- Online conferences begin.
- Conferences are for issue area members and are scheduled on the following dates:
- 10/30 – Environment 1 (16:00 GMT)
- 11/2 – Human Rights 1 (18:00 GMT)
- 11/5 - Health 1 (17:00 GMT)
- 11/9 – Economics 1 (17:00 GMT)
- 11/12 – Environment 2 (18:00 GMT)
- 11/16 – Human Rights 2 (18:00 GMT)
- 11/19 – Health 2 (17:00 GMT)
- 11/23 – Economics 2 (17:00 GMT)
